Violet’s practice has never belonged to only one material. She paints. She sews. She illustrates. She makes strange little objects, oversized blooms, murals, garments, and rooms where people discover the pleasure of making something with their own hands.
The form may change, but the impulse stays the same: to create work with feeling. Her world lives somewhere between fine art, nostalgia, femininity, theatricality, and the small magic hidden inside ordinary things.
The ordinary is only waiting to be noticed.
